- Lightly grease poacher. Place poacher in a frypan with enough water to cover base. Bring water to boil. Break eggs carefully into poacher, reduce the heat to low so that the water is simmering. Place lid on the pan and steam for 4 minutes or until eggs are cooked to your liking
